Green Stripe Spiral Salad Plate

Our Spiral dinnerware and serveware is made for Hudson Grace in Civita Castellana, Italy. Our artisans shape each piece by hand with precision and care, using clay sourced from their own village. 

Beginning with a flat disc, they mark the center of the spiral before delicately pulling the clay outward in a seamless motion. This demanding process requires expertise and patience as the spiral gradually widens towards the edges of each bowl, plate, mug, and platter. After drying, the platters are fired in a kiln and bisque fired. Following this, our HG signature white glaze is applied to accentuate the spiral effect, adding depth and character to each piece. The final firing sets the glazes, resulting in a collection that blends modern design with traditional techniques.
