Our Spiral dinnerware and serveware is made for Hudson Grace in Civita Castellana, Italy. Our artisans shape each piece by hand with precision and care, using clay sourced from their village.
Beginning with a flat disc, they mark the center of the spiral before delicately pulling the clay outward in a seamless motion. This demanding process requires expertise and patience as the spiral gradually widens toward the edges of each bowl, plate, mug, and platter. After drying, the platters are fired in a kiln and bisque-fired. Following this, our HG signature white glaze accentuates the spiral effect, adding depth and character to each piece. The final firing sets the glazes, creating a collection that blends modern design with traditional techniques.
