To create this 13 inch Ebonized Wood Bowl, a single piece of wood from a fallen tree is darkened with a food-safe stain. Doubles as a show stopping tabletop display and a functional oversize serving dish.

Care Guide

Hand wash only. Season regularly with food-grade mineral oil or our food-safe 8oz. conditioner. These bowls are sealed with Tung oil, which soaks into the wood and creates a sealant against moisture. The beeswax conditioner is the best option to continue care for your wood bowl, and will help keep any acidity from substances like lemon juice from degrading the finish. Do not leave the bowls soaking, and hand wash immediately after using. Due to the Tung oil, there is no way to repair any fading of color or degradation due to lack of care.
