Hudson Grace vintage rugs bring color, pattern, and history into the home. We hand-select each one-of-a-kind rug for its distinctive character, thoughtful palette, and timeworn details. Artisans crafted every piece entirely by hand, so no two rugs share the same weave, shape, or finish.
One-of-a-Kind Vintage Rugs
Time gives vintage rugs their unmistakable character. Over the years, sunlight softens colors, footsteps gently wear the weave, and individual areas develop subtle variations. Rather than hide these details, we choose rugs that wear them beautifully.
You may notice:
- Natural fading and color variation
- Slight differences in shape or size
- Irregularities in the pattern or weave
- Areas of visible wear from age and use
These qualities do not detract from the rug. Instead, they reveal its history and make each piece entirely its own. Because makers wove every rug by hand, small irregularities also reflect the craftsmanship behind it.
Hand-Selected for Character
We consider the whole rug when making our selections. First, we look at its color and pattern. Then, we study its texture, condition, and the way its vintage characteristics work together. As a result, the collection includes rugs with a range of personalities, from softly faded and tonal to richly patterned and graphic.
Vintage rugs also bring warmth and texture to many rooms. For example, place one beside a bed, beneath a dining table, along a hallway, or at the center of a living room. A smaller rug can define an entryway, while a larger piece can anchor the furniture around it.
Finally, we photograph every vintage rug individually so you can review its specific color, pattern, dimensions, and signs of age. Since each rug is one of a kind, only one is available.
