European Glass Vases
Glass is at the heart of the Hudson Grace vase collection. Many of our clear glass vases are handcrafted in Poland from thick, mouth-blown glass. Familiar rounded silhouettes sit alongside tall architectural forms and more sculptural shapes, giving everything from ranunculus and peonies to lilies, eucalyptus, and flowering branches the right support.
Our scissor-cut glass vases bring a different point of view. Rooted in Belgian glassmaking traditions, these pieces are shaped by hand while the glass is still molten. Skilled makers cut the hot glass with scissors, creating softly irregular rims and subtle differences from one vase to the next. Some are composed of individual glass tubes for single stems; others have rounded bases and rippled edges that make even a simple arrangement feel considered.
Opaque glass offers another way to work with flowers. The handblown Sonia Vase, for example, is handmade in Europe with a rich green finish and an oversized silhouette made for a full bundle of blooms. Clear glass shows every stem and line of water; opaque glass keeps the focus on the flowers above. Both have a place in the collection.
Flowers Throughout the Home
We believe flowers should be part of the house rather than reserved for company. A small bud vase on a bedside table can hold one clipped rose.
