French Martini
Don’t let the name fool you—it’s neither French nor a martini. But it is smooth, balanced, and just bold enough to pull off Chambord. Vodka forms the base, pineapple adds lift, and the raspberry liqueur brings the charm. It’s unexpected in the best way—light on its feet but not afraid to stand out.
This isn’t the drink for someone still figuring out what they like. It’s the drink for someone who already knows.
Recipe
-
2 oz vodka
-
½ oz Chambord
-
1 oz pineapple juice
Shake with ice and strain into a chilled martini glass. No garnish necessary—it’s got enough personality without one.
A note: Despite the name, the French Martini was born in New York in the '80s, part of the cocktail revival that traded dusty drinks for something sleeker. The “French” comes from Chambord, the luxe black raspberry liqueur that gives it both name and backbone.
When we serve it: Cocktail hour, dinner parties, or nights when the playlist leans a little glam. It’s the sleeper hit that always gets a second pour.
